While technically still in Phnom Penh, this lovely design resort is a 45-minute drive upriver from the city along the banks of the Mekong. The 18 suites are housed in a low profile group of buildings, with a sleek pool at the center and the river just beyond. Breakfast is a blend of healthy and sweet dishes, but the biggest treat is the view of the city skyscrapers far off in the distance, as you lay ensconced in your luxury hideaway.
