The Farmhouse Hotel Review

Centered on a restored farmstead built in the 1860s, this hotel has thick white walls, tile floors, and timber beams. Rustic pine furniture and bright floral fabrics decorate the rooms, some of which have fireplaces and views of the lagoon. The hotel's à la carte menu focuses on seafood and Cape cuisine, which is served in the attractive dining room ($) notable for its Oregon-pine furniture, fireplace, and high ceiling. Breakfast is said to be the best in town—an enormous buffet of cheeses, cold meats, homemade breads and croissants, kippers, omelets, good coffee, and a view to die for.
