Fodor's Review

It's widely accepted that this small estate (only 67 acres are under vine) produces some of the best white wines around, thanks to Mike Dobrovic, an extremely talented cellar master. The robust, barrel-fermented chardonnay (2006 available) has a complex nose and a smooth, velvety finish; a sip might have you tasting buttered toast, citrus, vanilla, and wild herbs. The 2008 sauvignon blanc is also delicious; it's packed with gooseberry, nettle, and a touch of citrus. The

Faithful Hound red blend was named after a dog who, when the current owners bought the farm in the late 1980s, refused to leave the house where he lived. Faithful Hound 2005 is available and as good as ever. A huge portion of the farm has been left to indigenous vegetation and wildlife.
