Dysart Boutique Hotel
17 Dysart Rd., Cape Town, Western Cape, 8005, South Africa, Cape Town, South AfricaWhy We Like It
A boutique property that manages to feel both welcoming and cool in equal measure - plus it has its own full-time feline welcoming committee. What's not to like about that?
Fodor's Expert Review
This small, chic boutique hotel in Green Point is perfect for style mavens and art lovers seeking a quiet stay in a convenient location. Now made up of two neighboring properties, it has a pool and deck area at the front of each, which both enjoy great views. Guests can use either regardless of where they are staying. One is bigger than the other, though. The inside lounge area is a haven of style, where helpful staff serve up delicious cocktails and snacks.
Tip Charmingly, there's a hotel cat called Daisy, and she's not the aloof kind, either.

Room
Rooms come in different sizes, but none are small, and all are modern and well-designed, with tasteful contemporary artwork, bright cushions, and plenty of amenities, as well as underfloor heating for winter. Many have their own patios, terraces, or small balconies. Beds are almost all king size, with singles available on request.

Bathrooms either have large walk-in rain showers or hand-held showers. Some have a bath.
Lobby
There's safe parking and then a friendly welcome available as you enter reception, where staff are waiting to help guests with their every need.
You Should Know While there is parking, the area is not huge and this can mean some guests have to park on the street. It's still secure, but worth noting.
Pool
The two pools offer pleasant boltholes if the city sightseeing is getting intense, and staff serve drinks and snacks poolside.
Spa
There's no spa, but in-room treatments are available.
Dining
The breakfast buffet is hearty and comes highly recommended.
Drinking
Snacks and drinks can be served all over the property: in the cool lounge area, by the pool, or in your room. Take your pick.

Restaurants
El Burro (7-minute walk) offers great, fresh Mexican food nearby. Or try Giovannis Deliworld (5-minute walk) - they'll make any sandwich under the sun, the coffee is great and the pavement cafe has a friendly vibe.
