Souk Semarine Review

Your first mission is to find rue Semarine, one of the two main souk arteries stretching north. From Djemâa el Fna take the street just to the left of the Café Argana, which leads into the small Bab Fteuh square and then keep bearing right. To the left there is a kissaria (covered market), with dried fruits, herbs and spices, essential oils, and traditional colored eye kohls (expect to pay about 10 DH for a kohl holder and 5 DH for the kohl itself). Veer right into the covered market, past a couple of stands selling teapots and mint tea glasses, and take a left onto rue Souk Semarine. It's signposted and lined with fabrics and inexpensive souvenirs.

    What a good news!!

from a while I like to spend time in this part of the Marrakesh Souk. So colourfull and warm atmosphere!
What a surprise to discover last week it's now not allowed for bicycles and motorbikes!!

You can walk without looking behind you to be sure you won't be overtake by a bicycle closer to you than expected!!

So good to feel comfortable there.
Congratulation fo this so good idea!!!!
