Under energetic Moroccan management, the Two Towers is hitting back at recent criticisms of worn rooms and lackluster service. It has the advantages of a luxurious garden setting and classic Charles Boccara architecture. The communal areas, particularly the poolside terrace and cathedral-like restaurant, are a delight, and the site is crammed with romantic nooks and crannies. Rooms contain wonderful Moroccan writing desks and unconventional painted oleander-branch ceilings, although the unattractive electric kettles for making tea and coffee shatter the mood. Meals are served upon request.
