Fodor's Review

Originally the private residence of Sidi Mohammed el Abaddi, a famous judge and astrologer, this 19th-century family home has been renovated and expanded several times over the years, and now it's beginning to fray slightly around the edges. High ceilings and intricately carved stucco and cedar walls surround central patios and fountains, but in the Andalusian-style guest rooms, some of the furnishings seem worn. Breakfast is served on an open terrace with attentive morning staff, but otherwise service is inconsistent and for the prices on the restaurant menu, you'd expect better-than-average food. Work off your dinner in a well-equipped gym near the private spa–hammam.
