Lavi Kibbutz Hotel Review

With a new wing built in 2008, this guesthouse is keeping up with the times. Rooms are spacious, and many have good views. The kibbutz is religious and there is no checking in or out and use of cars between Friday and Saturday evening. That said, the atmosphere is welcoming for all, and waking up in peaceful rural surroundings has much to recommend it. The hospitality of kibbutz members offers visitors a look at life on one of Israel's 17 religious kibbutzim. Ask to see the synagogue furniture factory and the unique apparatus set up in the cowsheds to milk the cows on Saturday without violating the Sabbath.
