The doors to this legendary institution opened in 1940—it's probably the oldest restaurant in the country. Three generations of the Oppenheimer family work here, and the walls carry enlarged photographs of how the place looked when it was just a hut. Stop off for coffee and cake, or make a meal of spinach blintzes with melted cheese, hamburger platters, or Chinese dishes. The management swears that the schnitzel gets accolades from Viennese visitors. Kids will enjoy
the enclosed playground.
