Haifa and the Northern Coast Restaurants

Nof HaCarmel

Nof HaCarmel Review

To find this excellent Druze restaurant, drive to the northern edge of the village. The eatery is on your left; look for a few tables outside under the trees. People come from all over the Carmel for the fine Middle Eastern fare, especially the homemade hummus with pine nuts, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice, and the well-seasoned kebab on skewers. Those with a sweet tooth should sample the sahlab (a warm, custard-like pudding of crushed orchid bulb with thickened milk and sugar).
