Fodor's Review

Rebuilt in 2012, this welcoming camp, imaginatively decorated and furnished, is in raised tent chalets with a spectacular view over Osprey Lagoon. The light, spacious rooms have white-washed wood floors, earthy tones, and split-level outside decks. A giant, hessian anitquated map of Bechuanaland serves as a backdrop to your writing desk, behind which lies your bathroom and indoor shower. The art deco-meets-safari chic theme continues in the main lounge with an eclectic mix of chairs, sofas, and weathered trunks. Although the watery view from the elevated bar is impressive, for an alternative aspect descend to one of several floating decks and hides along the water's edge. The food is creatively served and tastes superb. Before you set out on your early-morning game drive, try a plate of piping-hot porridge, a Danish straight from the oven, or a freshly baked muffin.
