"The Met," as the locals call it, is one of the city's top business-district hotels, with design elements that follow the principles of feng shui, from the two lions guarding the entrance to the spacious, luxurious rooms. The hotel offers a heated indoor pool, steam room, infrared sauna, and 24-hour fitness center. Guest rooms are spacious, some have kitchenettes. Although shops are right outside the door, there's a limo service for rides to Stanley Park or other Downtown destinations. Diva is the hotel's long-standing and much-revered destination restaurant.
