Disney Cruise Line: Disney Dream

  • Disney Cruise Line

Disney Dream Staterooms

Cabins: Designed specifically for families, Disney ships have some of the most functional staterooms at sea. A nautical flavor adds to the art deco-inspired decor, which even includes a touch of Disney-inspired artwork. Eighty-eight percent of the staterooms have an

ocean view and, of those, 90% have a private balcony. Most can accommodate at least three people; categories designated “family” are able to sleep four or even five comfortably. To accommodate larger families and groups traveling together, there are 500 connecting doors that create adjoining staterooms. All have a seating area and, with the exception of the standard inside category, feature a unique bath-and-a-half arrangement. Suites feature two bathrooms, including one with double sinks and a whirlpool tub. Royal suites have a second whirlpool tub on the balcony.

Amenities: Though not luxurious, Disney cabins are comfortably furnished and have some useful amenities, including a flat-screen TV, small refrigerator, safe, iPod docking station, and hair dryer. All inside staterooms have a real-time underwater view of the outside of the ship on an LCD flat-screen monitor disguised as a “virtual porthole,” which can be turned off at night. Shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are provided for all; suites receive upgraded toiletries and bathrobes for use during the cruise. All suites have concierge service and daily deliveries of canapés, fruit, or cookies.

Accessibility: Thirty-seven staterooms in a variety of categories are equipped for accessibility.
