On a beautiful lake about 12 km (7 miles) east of downtown, this sprawling Spanish colonial hotel is the kind of place that encourages relaxation. Bask by the pool, play a few games of tennis, or head out on a horse for an afternoon of exploring the parkland. The split-level rooms, all the size of suites, have wood-beam ceilings and carpeted floors.
