Fodor's Expert Review Tomo I

$$$$ Centro Argentine

Despite being one of the more sophisticated dining rooms in the city, being a hotel restaurant means that Tomo I will have a mix of couples dressed to the nines and groups of backpackers in T-shirts. Don't let that put you off, as the fare at this bastion of modern French-Argentine cooking is some of the best in the city. The room was renovated a couple of years ago, and now features a full wall of windows looking out over the city's widest avenue. The food tends toward the lighter side, even when considering meat dishes, and truly shines with its updated versions of classic French dishes.
