"A kitchen with tables" is how owner Mariana describes this semi-converted garage that she opened up many moons ago with then-husband Flavio, now out of the picture. It's a strange mix of kitsch and clutter, it's been years since this place got a good cleaning. The food has a slightly Asian touch to it, in the same vein that something termed "exotic" in a 1968 Lady's Home Journal might have had - a bit of soy or honey or offbeat spicing. Invariably, sauces are overly sweetened. The cooking is uneven and dishes sometimes seems barely thrown together and not well thought out. What may have once been a hotspot for the unusual is now just plain unusual.
