The prices are high at this "revolutionary" restaurant—the dining room literally revolves around the Space Needle tower so you get 360-degree views out the towering windows as you eat—but the food and presentation are as impressive as the skyline. Don't be surprised if you witness a wedding proposal here; this is a prime location for celebrating special occasions. The menu is creative, focusing on innovative preparations of local ingredients, accompanied by well-matched sides. Wild King Salmon, for example, is enhanced with apple cider butter, and served with roasted sunchokes and kale; a juicy pork chop comes with sweet potato hash, house bacon, and rapini; and duck is served with foie gras dumplings and bok choy. The Lunar Orbiter dessert—ice cream served in a fog of dry ice—is an entertaining end to a meal.
