Most guest rooms at this Goat Island hotel have ocean views, and all have cushy bedding with pillow-top mattresses and muted color schemes. The grounds include a walking path, a lighthouse, and Adirondack chairs to relax in. The pool area and outdoor restaurant, Pineapples, are the best places to enjoy panoramic views of the harbor at sunset, and summer nights find guests making s'mores over the outdoor fire pit. It's a 10-minute walk from the hotel to the center of Newport, but a complimentary shuttle service downtown is available.
