Fodor's Expert Review Tangerine
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Although neither the interior nor the food is authentic Moroccan, there's enough of the genuine to make people feel as though they're in that beautiful, exotic country. Take the wall of twinkling candle-filled niches and the backlit velvet curtains. Take the tagines (cone-topped clay pots) that hold some of the oven-cooked dishes, and take the flavors of many of the richly spiced dishes and, somehow, the whole experience adds up to a trip to North Africa—in spirit, at least. Dishes are served family style. An abbreviated menu is available in the twinkling lounge.
