During the Battle of Gettysburg, this 1812 home on the edge of the battlefield served as a field hospital. Today it serves breakfast to the guests who overnight here, in the main house or in the carriage house. The carefully restored rooms are filled with antiques; many have fireplaces. Those on the ground floor of the carriage house have their own patios.
