Two local women managed to establish this cozy, romantic restaurant in an old building that at one point was a refuse dump, and the result is a hard-to-categorize winner that has Mexican and Latino influences. Menu items might include sesame-crusted salmon with chipotle barbecue glaze, which you can consider washing down with a tamarind margarita. Flans, like much of the menu, are seasonal; try the Kahlua flan or the orange flan with chocolate in the middle.
