9 Best Nightlife in The Oregon Coast, Oregon

Brut Wine Bar

Fodor's choice

Shelves of often hard-to-find bottles from both smaller and widely known wineries line the walls of this cozy, dimly lit downtown wine bar and bottle shop with a friendly staff that's always happy to make suggestions, whatever your price point. Enjoy a glass of wine (there's cider and beer, too) alongside a cheese-charcuterie board or another light snack. There's a cute patio as well.

Cannon Beach Hardware and Public House

Fodor's choice
At this oddly endearing gastropub a block from the beach, the view from your table may be of bins filled with assorted lamb knobs or pliers—this is an actual hardware store (with a good supply of gifts, to boot). To drink you'll find a nice list of regional craft brews on tap, plus eclectic cocktails and Northwest wines, and good burgers, sandwiches, seafood apps, and other tavern fare are available.

Fort George Brewery

Fodor's choice

The spacious taproom and brewery set in a former 1920s auto showroom has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating where you can sample some of the best craft beers on the coast, including a number of limited-release collaborations with other top regional brewers. There's also tasty pub fare.

7 Devils Waterfront Ale House

Stop by either the original downtown taproom or the newer space on the Coos Bay waterfront to sample some of the best craft beers on the South Coast. The waterfront locale, right by Coos History Museum, has nice views of the bay and tasty seafood-focused comfort fare, but the downtown locale charms visitors with a fireplace on the patio and plenty of good food as well.

Beachcrest Brewing

Set amid the handful of boutiques and galleries that make up Salishan Marketplace on Gleneden's Siletz Bay, this cozy taproom with polished-wood communal tables and a long bar produces about a dozen exceptional beers at any given time, from a Bavarian-style helles (pale) lager to a dark and formidable oatmeal stout. Soft pretzels and wood-fired pizzas are served, too.

Inferno Lounge

Just about every seat in this hip bar situated on a pier that juts into the Columbia River offers stupendous water views. Catch the sunset with a well-crafted cocktail and perhaps a few nibbles—Thai shrimp tacos, pork potstickers—from the tapas menu. This place, known for infused spirits, buzzes until midnight or later.

Littoral Bar

Make the gorgeous 10-mile drive down the coast in Rockaway Beach and pop inside this rustic-chic bar with a cozy deck for a well-crafted cocktail—the cast-iron margarita with habanero-infused tequila and hot honey is a popular choice. Light appetizers are served, and guests are welcome to bring food in from neighboring Upper Crust Pizza.

Pelican Pub & Brewery

This old-school pub overlooks the ocean by Haystack Rock and garners considerable kudos for its beers, including the Kiwanda Cream Ale and deep, rich Tsunami Stout. The pub turns decent comfort fare. Pelican has three additional pubs in Lincoln City, Tillamook, and Cannon Beach.

Three Rivers Casino and Hotel

This contemporary casino resort a couple of miles inland from U.S. 101 has 700 slots and video games, plus 93 attractive rooms. It also has table games, including roulette, craps, blackjack, no-limit Texas hold 'em, as well as keno and bingo. Four dining venues—from the refined to the casual—suit a range of tastes.
