Locals love this funky diner-and-nightclub complex that defies categorization by offering inventive, fresh seafood, spicy vegetarian dishes, and meats cured and smoked on the premises. Located next to the historic Columbian Theater, the café serves simple food, such as crepes with broccoli, cheese, and homemade salsa for lunch. Pub-inspired dinner fare—including pesto pizza, steamed mussels, and burgers—are served in the evening in the Voodoo Room bar, which also has live music some nights.
