The current owners of Lincoln City's oldest lodging, built in the 1940s as a modest motor court, have given the 23-room property a thoughtful, upbeat makeover, transforming it into a cool little boutique hotel with loads of charm and amenities like a game room, a croquet golf course, a self-serve "honor store," complimentary s'mores kits, and a nifty pizza restaurant, The Wheelhouse. Rooms retain the original property's whimsical decor and include comfy linens, hip furnishings, and kitchenettes.
