The acclaimed chef duo behind Ox, Greg Denton and Gabi Quiñónez Denton, present an artfully plated selection of globally inspired treats in this refined yet unpretentious West End space. The menu of is divided into smaller bites, shareable plates, and just three quite substantial family-style platters (such as whole fried trout with ginger–black bean sauce, or pork shoulder confit with hazelnut chimichurri). A good strategy is to go with friends and order two to three items per person, perhaps starting with salmon ceviche, a duck-liver scrambled egg with sturgeon caviar, or the playfully conceived "spaghettios" with butter, Parmesan, and fresh truffles. There's an extensive vegetarian menu, and the adjoining bar, Kask, is a lovely spot for predinner drinks or even a light meal.
