Street performers, live bands, a parade, and festival atmosphere dominate University Circle during the waning days of spring. The Cleveland Museum of Art, Natural History Museum, Botanical Garden, and pretty much every other facility in University Circle stage special attractions and activities during the day's events. Thousands of people line the streets of downtown Cleveland each April to listen to some of jazz's top musicians perform in concert. The 10-day series, sponsored by Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C), is held at various locations throughout the city.

The state's largest wine festival takes place 30 minutes east of Cleveland, at Lake Metroparks' FarmPark in Kirtland. Count on live jazz and blues entertainment, fine finger and festival foods, arts and crafts, and sampling some of the nation's best boutique wines—made in Ohio.
