When to Go to Cincinnati

Cincinnati's summers are hot and humid, a result of being in a basin along the Ohio River. In spite of the humidity, there's plenty to do in the summer. Expect the hottest weather during the dog days of August, when temperatures are frequently in the 90s. The best time to visit Cincinnati is in the fall, when temperatures begin to cool down and many major outdoor events are scheduled.
