Fodor's Review

The Bull and Beggar is decidedly warehouse-hip, with brick walls, old wood floors, and high ceilings. Its slogan is "European-inspired Appalachian cuisine," but its most popular feature is "Burger Monday," when fabulous double-patty burgers with fries go for $10. Other times, enjoy the selection of oysters on the half shell, cold seafood towers that include unusual items like periwinkles, truffled guinea fowl, or one of the remarkable steaks. Except for the Monday burgers, entrée prices are mostly $30 and up.
