Fodor's Review

Perhaps befitting the surreal dream implied in the title, it has been a long, strange voyage for this aquatic spectacle created by original O and Mystere director Franco Dragone. Le Rêve has been an ever-evolving product over the years. In late 2014, the production introduced $3 million in new special effects involving fire shooters, water cannons, and water scrims that become projection surfaces, and the theater-in-the-round now has a deluxe seating area with champagne service. The circular seating configuration still pulls everyone in close for the tale of a female dreamer adrift in a surreal journey to find love. Max Chmerkovskiy from Dancing with the Stars added a ballroom element to the water-based stunts and aerial acrobatics. You're likely to remember the sensual image of the dreamer in her dripping-wet dress as much as the 80-foot dives from an upper bell tower.
