Fodor's Expert Review Fair Hill Inn
Some 18 minutes out of North East, this 1764 inn has been owned and operated by a highly skilled young American culinary trio since 2006. Original hardwood and brick floors have been retained, as have stone interior walls, timber ceilings with support beams, and myriad period windows. Open for dinner only, the menu changes dramatically from season to season. The emphasis is on fresh and local produce, albeit enhanced with choice imported items. Among the superbly presented dishes are seared breast of duck, Cornish game hen, and, of course, the freshest seafood from the Bay. A vintage wine display reflects the extensive options available.
