Tours

St. Simons Colonial Island Trolley Tours. For more than a decade, this locally owned and operated tour company has been introducing visitors to the history and culture of St. Simons Island. Reaching back 500 years, guides chronicle stories from the days of the island's early Native American inhabitants to modern history. No tour is the same, but the air-conditioned trolley passes by landmark sites of pre–Civil War African American churches, Christ Church, and the Battle of Bloody Marsh. The tour runs for 1½ hours and costs $20. The trolley departs from near the fishing pier at Pier Village up to three times daily depending on the season.
