Fodor's Expert Review The Ravenous Pig
The first local restaurant to break into the "gastropub" category, the Pig is arguably Orlando's most popular foodie destination and has spawned several offshoots. Run by James Beard-nominees James and Julie Petrakis, this husband-and-wife chef team dispenses delicacies like pork porterhouse or the pub burger. The menu changes daily and always includes less expensive pub fare like rock shrimp tacos and homemade pretzels. All charcuterie is made in-house, from spiced orange salami to game-bird terrine. In 2016 the restaurant left its original location and merged with the Cask & Larder Brewery.
