This casual roadside tavern in a building dating back to 1817 serves a lengthy list of burgers, hearty comfort food, and salads, but the menu also has some surprises such as shrimp and grits and crab Cobb salad, and the dessert and hors d'oeuvres menus are tempting. Dine on the sunny porch or patio (in season), by the bar with its TV, or in one of several rooms, including a wood-paneled dining room with a fireplace. Parking can be a challenge; Buckley's gets very busy at times.
