Fodor's Expert Review Noah Webster House

Hartford Historic Home

This 18th-century farmhouse is the birthplace of the famed author (1758–1843) of the American Dictionary. Inside you'll find Webster memorabilia and period furnishings; outside, there is a garden planted with herbs, vegetables, and flowers that would have been available to the Websters when they lived here.
