The park has no restaurants, but Eureka and Arcata have diverse dining establishments—everything from hip oyster bars to various ethnic restaurants. The selection is decent in Crescent City, and there are a few, generally good, choices in Klamath, Orick, and Trinidad. Most small-town restaurants close early, around 7:30 or 8 pm.
A couple of blocks from Arcata's festive plaza, this hip seafood restaurant inside a beautifully converted old machine shop offers seating in an airy dining room and on a large side patio. Specialties include classic panko-crusted cod and chips and seared-rare steelhead, but you could also make a meal of small plates from the raw bar—shrimp cocktail, ceviche tostadas, and raw or grilled Pacific oysters among them.
Water from the cool and clean Smith River goes into the dozen or so beers poured at this microbrewery with a modern-industrial interior. They pair well with wood-fired thin-crust pizzas that include one with grilled chicken, bacon, artichoke hearts, garlic cream sauce, and cheeses from the local Rumiano Cheese Company.

Notable noshes include quiche, ham-and-cheese breakfast croissants, croques monsieur and madame, and focaccia sandwiches with avocado and Humboldt Fog goat cheese from Arcata's Cypress Grove creamery.
A cheerful café serving hearty, delicious breakfasts and espresso drinks, Good Harvest lives up to its name with ample use of locally grown and organic ingredients. Salads, burgers, sandwiches, vegetarian specialties, and several fish entrées are on the menu for lunch and dinner.

This homey, diner-style café just north of Klamath serves the sort of hearty American fare that'll fuel you up before a big day of hiking. The cooks prepare breakfast sandwiches, Belgian waffles, and chicken-fried steaks in the morning, and deli sandwiches, salads, and pizzas throughout the rest of the day. Overnight cabins and a small market are also part of the same-named compound.
