Mt. Ada
FODOR’S EXPERT REVIEW
A stay in the 1921 mansion that William Wrigley Jr. built includes breakfast, lunch, beverages, an evening wine and charcuterie plate, gelato, house-made cookies, and snacks---all the comforts of a millionaire's home. Each guest also has use of a golf cart to cruise around Avalon. Splurge for the Grand Suite to stay in Mr. Wrigley's bedroom. It's the largest room in the estate and comes with a fireplace, living area, and bathroom with a shower and soaking bathtub. French doors lead out to a spacious terrace overlooking all of Avalon. The friendly staff will pick you up from the ferry and bring you back to the ferry terminal at the end of your stay.
