Today, this northwest Arkansas town of 2,500 supports dozens of spas, and has become a bed-and-breakfast mecca, with more than 80 B&Bs. A thriving resort town, Eureka Springs is home to nearly 400 resident artists who showcase their work in some 100 specialty shops, including fine crafts and art galleries. Outdoors enthusiasts of every variety are also attracted to this historic community tucked away in the Ozark Mountains, where scenic rivers, clear lakes, and convenient camping frame one of the best-preserved communities in the United States.
