Whale-watching, sea kayaking, bird-watching, scuba diving, garden touring, vineyard and winery tours, city culinary tours, river cruising, golfing, fishing, skiing, and snowmobiling are just a few of New Brunswick's alluring experiences. Also, bicycling in particular is a great way to tour New Brunswick. B&Bs frequently have bicycles for rent. Two favorite biking areas in the province are the 33 km (20 miles) of country roads on Grand Manan Island (you can rent bikes from Adventure High; ) and the Quoddy Loop, which goes around Passamaquoddy Bay and the western mouth of the Bay of Fundy. Fredericton has more than 115 km (71 miles) of multiuse trails, including routes through city parks and one that goes alongside and across the river (with a trail visitor center on the north side), and more are planned.

Baymount Outdoor Adventures. This outfitter leads sea-kayaking tours at Hopewell Rocks, and hiking and mountain-biking tours in the Bay of Fundy biosphere reserve and Caledonia Highlands. Uncorked Tours. Hugely popular escorted tours to New Brunswick wineries and breweries (with tastings) follow scenic routes and some include cheese sampling, lunch or dinner, or visits to artisan studios. Tours, with departures from Saint John, Moncton, Fredericton, and St. Andrews, are usually half- or full-days, but can be customized, and include transportation and pick-up from area hotels.
