The rooms at Hotel BLU are spacious and have a natural, "earthy" feel that pairs perfectly with the property's eco-friendly vibe.
Just because you're staying in an eco-friendly property doesn't mean you can't enjoy a little high-tech entertainment! All rooms come equipped with tablets (which come pre-loaded with over 2000 publications) and advanced entertainment systems.

The dark-tiled bathrooms are plenty spacious and are separated from the room with glass panels. (Don’t worry, there are privacy shades.) Bathrooms come stocked with eco-friendly body care products by Elemis.

The lobby at Hotel BLU definitely makes a fashionable statement with jewel-toned sofas, hand-blown chandeliers, flossy black tile, and textured silver wallpaper.
YOU SHOULD KNOW There's complimentary water in the lobby at Hotel BLU, but the property is a plastic bottle-free zone. Make sure to pack reusable water bottle to use during your stay.
pool
Hotel BLU has a pool and hot tub, but they're definitely on the smaller side, so you won't want to visit when too many guests are taking a swim. If you need a towel, you can grab one from the adjacent changing rooms.
gym
The fitness center is open 24 hours a day and features plenty of cardio machines, free weights, and fitness accessories (think yoga mats). After your workout, pop by the sauna for a few minutes of rest and relaxation before heading back to your room.
dining
Azure Lounge has a breakfast buffet, with both hot and cold options, every day from 7 am to 11 am. Breakfast has plenty of options (the juice/smoothie bar is a nice addition) and dishes are made with organic and locally sourced ingredients.
LOCATION
Getting Around
Hotel BLU would really like you to travel in the most eco-friendly possible. They provide complimentary bikes and shuttle service, and while valet service is $30 per night, they offer a 50% discount for hybrid or electric cars. If you need to use public transportation, you can hop on the SkyTrain at Stadium-Chinatown station, which is a quick 5-minute walk from the hotel.
Restaurants
For a filling-but-healthy meal, stop by Black Rice (1-minute walk), an Asian-fusion restaurant with an impressive selection of sushi and sashimi as well as in inventive menu of appetizers and small plates (the sockeye guacamole carpaccio is a fantastic starter). If you're more in the mood for seafood, try Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market (1-minute walk), Vancouver’s only tide-to-table oyster and shellfish bar (you don't get any fresher than that!).
