Often called Cow Bay, this funky little town about 10 minutes south of Duncan (take Cowichan Bay Road off Highway 1) is made up largely of houseboats and houses built on pilings over the water. Seafood restaurants, nautical shops, boatbuilders, kayaking outfitters, and B&Bs line the waterfront.
