Offering return-to-nature style retreats, these year-round walk-in yurt rentals are on 1,000 acres of forested mountainside wilderness. Committed to sustainable, eco-friendly practices, they use solar lighting and composting toilets. Outdoor exploration is encouraged with 15 km (9 miles) of pathed trails for summer hiking, as well as a certified forest-bathing path, and some tracked trails for cross-country skiing in the winter months. The yurts are rustic, but aesthetically pleasing, with beautiful custom-built beds, a table and chairs, and a wood-burning fireplace. An outdoor propane stove is provided for cooking, as well as a firepit area with a picnic table.
