Mount Engadine Lodge
Located about an hour’s drive from Canmore, this backcountry lodge is surrounded by rugged mountain peaks and it's one of the few backcountry lodges you can drive to. It’s common to see moose, elk, or bighorn sheep from the roads leading to the lodge and in the meadow behind it. Afternoon tea and all meals are included with a stay at the lodge. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, fresh-baked muffins, and made-to-order hot foods. Bagged lunches are provided each day, so you can take them with you when you go out exploring. Dinner is a gourmet affair, but you don't have to dress up for it. There are a variety of accommodations available including 3 cabins, a yurt, 6 rooms in the lodge, and 5 glamping tents, all with private en suite bathrooms. There's no cell signal, but the lodge does have Wi-Fi, and some rooms are pet-friendly.
