For some intellectual stimulation at the beach, head to Librería Topsy, where you can buy or exchange books. There's also a wide selection of the best nature and local guidebooks, kids' books (mostly in Spanish), and school and office stationery supplies. The American owner, Joel, who is a great source of local information, also provides a postal service, where you can drop off postcards and letters to be mailed (since there is no post office at the southern tip of the peninsula). It is closed on Tuesday.
