Don’t expect to be wowed by the service or décor at Bolu; people come here for one thing only: etli ekmek, or literally “bread with meat.” The Konya specialty is similar to lahmacun, a more common meat-topped Turkish flatbread, and consists of minced meat with spices on a long strip of pide bread and baked in a stone oven. White walls, white tables, and wooden chairs give Bolu somewhat of a cafeteria feel, but service is friendly and attentive, and though the place is crowded from open to close, waiters will always manage to find you a seat.
