Stadtkeller
Dating from the 16th century, this restaurant in a historic building brews its own beer and proffers hearty Swiss fare—the old classics of cheese fondue and veal schnitzel—as well as the in-house specialty of beef steak with Provence herbs and chips. The biggest draw though is the entertainment: from April to October there are Swiss folklore shows featuring Alphorns, cowbells, flag-waving, and yodeling. The concerts held in winter are legendary too, featuring Swiss dialect, rock, pop, blues, and jazz.
