Central Highlands
This part of the island has the most otherworldly geography: a drive up the winding mountain roads to the top and then down the other side takes you through rocky formations, craggy peaks, and deep ravines, all dotted with cacti. Gran Canaria’s small size means this trip is easily doable in a day, wherever you're based.
