Bedrooms range from the smaller attic rooms with fine views to the very grand rooms on the ground floor. The restaurant's three windowed walls overlook the garden and river, and its Scottish fare includes Borders beef, Highlands venison, and traditional puddings. Despite the rather aristocratic air, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are friendly and attentive.
