Make your own souvenir as you explore the past by creating do-it-yourself replicas (£2 to £6) from original Pictish stones and markers, rare Scottish brasses, and medieval church brasses. You can also buy ready-made versions in the shop. All the materials are here, and children find the pastime quite absorbing. The center occupies the surviving piece of a Gothic church down a close opposite the Museum of Childhood.
