What was once an alternative playground, with music, art, and food, on a former Shell site has been converted into an all-weather cultural destination on the banks of the IJ River, complete with three theaters, a café, art spaces, and an extension of the well-known Paradiso music venue (aptly called Padariso Noord). Reachable by a free ferry from Centraal Station, its programming remains as eclectic as ever.
