Riposto

City
ABOUT

This seaside village is said to be named for the primary business that used to dominate its shores: a depository for barrels and goods before they are shipped across the sea (riporre means "to store"). Through the years the port town has attracted boat builders, fishermen, recreational sailors, seafood lovers, and sunbathers who line its pebble beach. To this day the sea remains the heart of Riposto.
